Stories of the Creepy Stalker: Running in the Hall

Yay, we're back. So, Jayden (if you don't know/remember the characters, check out the previous Stories of the Creepy Stalker) recently reminded me of a situation she had with Jake. It was a hilarious story, and I just had to post it as the next SotCS. So, I know I promised one in my PoV, but that'll happen tomorrow. Here's how this story goes:

Jayden and I have a habit that we just can't seem to shake. Every day during track practice, we change our clothes from chill to athletic. Argh, this is going to sound weird- but you have to take off your shoes to take off your pants, right? We change from sweats to shorts and back again, and we leave our shoes off to slide around in the halls when nobody is around. So, this was a day that I was sick and had to miss school, so Jayden was alone. Sliding through the halls. And, from the title, you can imagine what happens next.

So, when Jayden gets her jeans back on, as always, she leaves her shoes off. She climbs the stairs to get to the regular halls and begin sliding towards her locker to grab her stuff. Before she gets out of the locker room, Creepy Stalker a.k.a. James gets out of the boy's locker room.

Us middle-schoolers have this weird thing called the Diamond, a place where all of the sixth and some of the seventh graders have their lockers. Eighth graders have their lockers in the regular halls, like the savages they are. The Diamond is a square-shaped hallway that is perfect for pacing. There are two rows of big red lockers up against one side of the hall, and in between those two is a triangle-shaped figure, where one shape is open to the hallway and the other two house two doors, usually leading to classrooms. The other side is science classrooms, no triangle, just big with two doors. The corner of each hallway has a door, two leading outside and two leading to other halls. So, and Jayden I have our lockers on the side of one hall, almost given the other half but not quite there. James has his locker right on the other side of us, in the corner.
So, Jayden is sliding in the halls. It's quite fun, actually. You should try it. Anyways, Jayden is almost to her locker when YOU KNOW WHO TURNS THE CORNER AND SAYS, "No running in the halls, Jayden."
And this is the part of the story when I would regularly just book it and not look back. But Jayden is super weird and somehow able to do this, so she says, "I wasn't. Maybe you should tell that to your friends, who got referrals for WRESTLING in the halls."
James barely recoils and says, "You like me."
Now, Jayden, being the savage she is, scoffs and ABSOLUTELY EARNS THE MIC DROP, "In your dreams, hotshot."
This is the part of the story all of us start dabbing. Dab now.

So, yeah. Not as exciting as the last one, but GOOD NEWS! You know how I mentioned that me and Jayden do track? And Creepy Stalker but that's not too important so let's not focus on that subject? Well I DOMINATED the 100m dash, the Discus, and got 6th out of 13 vs. 7th graders on the 800m. That was fun. And I didn't puke. That was also fun. But the bathrooms there dispensed what looked like a mix of baby powder and crack-cocaine, so maybe not that awesome.
